John was inspred by a handspun yarn sample to create this colorblocked hat. The square of the top is drawn into a round shape by the knitted brim and takes on a wearable Renaissance look. The hat can easily be made to fit an adult by adjusting the knitting gauge and blocking the top half to be more open.
The chunky crochet and smooth woven squares of this felted hat bring out the best in both crafts. A jaunty pom-pom and clever braided chinstrap complete the look for a warm and wearable topper.
